Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush painting or air-brushing.

These paints can be used on styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics.

The paint covers well, flows smoothly, and can be blended easily. Prior to curing, paint can be washed away with plain water.

When airbrushing make sure to use any of the following Tamiya thinners: 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520.

• X designated colors have a glossy finish while XF designated colors are flat finish.
• The paint can be thinned us ing Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner.
• For better paint brushing results use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) for a smoother brushstroke free finish.

The Tamiya flat clear coat finish is useful to reduce the glossy appearance of a model. It can also be used when you want to keep the molded color of the plastic parts instead of painting them. In addition to brush application, this paint can also be applied with airbrushes.

田宫水性油漆(亚克力油漆)以水溶性树脂制成，无论笔涂或喷枪上色皆可，并适用于AS树脂﹑发泡胶(保丽龙)﹑木材及所有常见于塑胶模型的塑胶。

水性油漆遮蔽力及延展性强，并容易以清水冲洗。

以喷枪上色时请使用以下稀释剂稀释：81020, 81030, 81040, 81520

• X系列颜料为亮光颜料，XF系列颜料为消光颜料
• 如需稀释请用田宫X-20A水性稀释剂
• 可使用田宫水性油漆用缓凝剂(87114)减少笔涂时的笔痕

另可使用各种田宫喷罐式面漆以控制涂膜的亮光程度及保护涂膜
